Tour Day 1:
Tambopata Amazon Nature to  MonkeyIslands  :

Upon arrival to Puerto Maldonado, at the airport or bus station, you will meet your guide, who will be waiting for you and will transfer you to our office located in downtown, where you will be able to re-pack and to leave the baggage that you won’t need to take to the tour. Then we will go to the Touristic port (Puerto capitania), from where we will go aboard in a motorized boat, that will take us for 45 minutes downstream until the port Sandoval, and we will enter to the lake Sandoval located inside the Tambopata National Reserve, to arrive to the lake Sandoval we will have to walk 3 Km. (muddy in the wet season) in one hour approximately and we will arrive at a small port, where we will take a rowing canoe, and after half hour of rowing we will arrive at the port of the Maloka Sandoval Lodge, when we will arrive to the lodge we will have a hot welcome with a flavorful typical juice, and after a brief explanation above the lodge you will be lodging in a comfortable room. After a rest, equipped with a flash light or head light we will take a night walk in the forest to go in search of the night monkey (Musmuqui), frogs, snakes and insects that are active during the night. Return to the Lodge to has dinner and spend the night.

Tour Day 2:
Tambopata Amazon  Brazil nut trail – Caiman search night to Amazon Wild Nature :

Very early on board of a canoe we will go around the lake Sandoval trying to see some of the most important conserved species in the lake, considered as flag species, ones of the endanger animal that lives in small and very territorial family groups: the giant river otters or river wolves (the biggest in the world) that feed and fish around the lake early morning, the giant otther feed up to 4 kilos of fish a day. We will return to the Lodge for the breakfast, brief rest. After the necessary resting, we will leave the lodge and we will going to walk in the Terra Firme forest trying to know more about the medicinal plants and diurnal mammals like monkeys, wild cats, peccaries and birds like toucans. Also we will try to know about the ecology of the Brazil nut tree or chestnut tree that is considered like a umbrella species, because helps to protect other flora and fauna species. Return to the Lodge for the lunch and nap time. In the afternoon we will leave again the lodge to take a canoe to go around the lake Sandoval lo look for monkeys (cappuccinos, squirrels, red howler), herons, kingfishers, cormorants, shanshos that live and they feed in the forest around the lake, at time that we will go back to the lodge, helped with flash light we will be able to see the reflection of the black caiman eyes that usually hunt at night in the shore of the lake, we will approach them, we will take them photos and we will talk about their natural history. Return to the Lodge to have dinner and spend the night.

Tour Day 3:
Tambopata Amazon Nature andoval Lake – Palms Clay lick – Flood Plain Forest – Tower  :

We will get up very early to cross the lake Sandoval and to walk about 20 minutes to visit the Collpa de Palmeras or palms clay lick, this is a special place where different species of macaws (blue and yellow, scarlet, red bellied, chestnut fronted) and parrots(yellow crowned, mealy, white bellied) meet to eat the dead wood of the palms trees that is rich in salts and minerals (calcium, sodium, potassium, aluminum, magnesium and iron.) that is a very important mineral supplement for the digestion of these birds and to counteract the bad effects of the toxins that they ingest feeding on un-ripe fruits. Return to the Lodge for the breakfast, brief rest. Then we will get ready to go by canoe again and to cross the lake Sandoval to get the flood plain forest and we will walk, for 2 hours approximately, where we will see big trees older than 200 years old, like the Shihuahuaco (iron tree), Lupuna (kapok tree) and oje (medicinal ficus tree); trees that grow only in this type of forest. Return to the Lodge for the lunch. Nap time. In the afternoon we will leave again the lodge to explore the lake by canoe, but this time we will get a tower of 12 meters high that is located between the limit of the touristic area (2 Km.) as a refuge area (1 km), where we will wait for the sun set. Return to the Lodge for the dinner and spend the night.

Tour Day 4:
Tambopata Amazon Nature to Sandoval Lake Back Puerto Maldonado – Airport and cusco to City Tour.

  DAY 6 : MACHU PICCHU THE LOST CITY OF THE INCAS .
At proper time you will be picked up from your hotel to travel to the town of Ollantaytambo which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where we board the train to Machu Picchu that lasts 2 hours of duration by train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village). Transfer to hotel with hot water. Today will have the afternoon free to meet mores of Aguas Calientes and take pictures of the place and enjoy some medicinal thermal baths (entrance is 10 nuevos soles per person). Where our guide will explain for 2 hours and 30 minutes over the Incan city of Machu Picchu. After the tour guide you. They will have free time of 4 hours to visit and photograph inside the citadel of Machu Picchu on your own. (Optional: visit the mountain of Huayna Picchu or the Inca Bridge)

One of the most pleasant Activities is running the river in an inflatable rubber raft, surrounded by splendid Andean Scenary. Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel and drive through the Andes to South part of Cusco to Chuquicahuana (1 hour and half), here you will receive your safety talk and equipment and you have a fantastic opportunity to raft in some Adrenaline action packed Class III and IV rapids. Here the rapids move and lot faster and they are constant Class III and IV for around 11 kms. Get ready for constant river commands from your guide and some tricky rafting maneuvers. Team work skills are required. At the take out, we dry off and change clothes, we will have a picnic tent lunch at the side of the river. . Return to Cusco and end of our services.

DAY 1:

You will be picked up from your Hotel between 7:50 and 8:00 am to begin this sightseeing tour in the Sacred Valley of the Inca where you will visit the first archaeological complex:
PISAC RUINS:

The bus will take you to the highest part of the complex, where the guide will give a brief explanation of the site and after this you will have some free time to enjoy the scenery (do not forget to bring your poncho or rain gear in the rainy season from October to May). Photography

PISAC MARKET:

Famous for its Andean market and customs, in Pisac you can buy arts and crafts at very affordable prices. You can also taste some of the best chicken or cheese empanadas (with a touch of albahaca) of the region as well as visit the workshops of artisans working silver.
OLLANTAYTAMBO:

This is one of the last real Inca towns left. The indigenous people that live here to this day live under Inca customs surrounded by the Apus (Mountains believed to be their gods). They believe that these Apus protect them and the impressive complex made of beautiful terraces used for agriculture and religious purposes. The majority of the Inca constructions here remain intact.

Photography Tips: The Temple of the Sun, the Bath of the Ñusta (or Inca concubine), and the Inca terraces.

After your visit of this incredible archaeological complex you will have time to visit the village but remember that you must be in the train station in Ollantaytambo 30 minutes before the departure of your train (the availability and timing of the trains are subject to change so please be there on time). We will use as reference the train leaving from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes at 19:00 and arriving in Aguas Calientes at 21:00 pm. There will be a person waiting for you here to take you to your Hotel where the guide will visit you and give a brief explanation of the next day’s tour of Machu Picchu.
DAY 2:

On this day you will have two different options to choose from, either walk up to Machu Picchu (this takes around 2 hours) or go by Bus. We recommend you leave early if you wish to experience the sunrise over this amazing Inca archaeological Citadel. The bus is optional and costs $ 12 per ticket each way, the first bus leaves at 5:30 am and upon arrival you may begin your visit of Machu Picchu. If you bought your entrance ticket to Huayna Picchu you will have the chance to climb this mountain (availability is controlled by the government and the Ministry of Culture, ask about availability at the time of your booking). In Machu Picchu you will have a two hour guided tour and after this you will have some time to explore this important Inca site on your own. We will then return to Aguas Calientes where you must be at the train station at least 30 minutes before your train leaves (the return train is subject to change so it’s better to be safe and on time). Once we arrive to Ollantaytambo there will be a bus waiting for us that will take you back to Cusco, leaving you at the Regocijo Square in the City Center.
