Traslado del muelle de Puno para la excursión lacustre a las islas flotantes, queda a 25 min. En Lancha desde el puerto de Puno; hechas de totora, habitadas por los Uros. Los Uros viven en chozas construidas sobre plataformas de totora, que no exceden de 30 a 40 cm. de grosor.
Continuaremos hacia la Isla Amantani en el viaje por lancha podrá apreciar la belleza natural del Lago Sagrado de los Incas donde sus pobladores se caracterizan por conservar su cultura y sus creencias costumbristas y tradicionales; manifestándolas a través de su vestimenta, ritos, religión etc.
Almuerzo Típico en la isla de Amantani, en las casa rurales, después del almuerzo cada pax tendrá lhora libre para hacer un recorrido breve de la isla y tomar fotos.

Que fue la Isla Taquile?
Sin embargo, en los años 1980 y 90, Taquileños lentamente comenzó a perder el control del turismo para su comunidad. Ellos cada vez más están siendo empujados a un lado y en el papel de los participantes. El viaje descrito anteriormente es un ejemplo de este desarrollo, ya que la mayoría de los turistas hoy en día sólo visitan la isla por unas horas, mientras que en el pasado se quedaron para una o más noches, en lo que hoy se conoce como «turismo residencial». Los isleños se dedican actualmente a una lucha seria para recuperar y mantener su control del turismo a su comunidad de la isla. Muy recientemente, Taquile puede haber entrado en una nueva etapa en su desarrollo turístico. A finales de 2005, la UNESCO ha registrado sus artes textiles como Obras Maestras del Patrimonio Oral e Inmaterial de la Humanidad. ¿Será esta designación ofrecer nuevas posibilidades para el control de sí mismo?
Los datos etnográficos en los que se basa este artículo fueron recogidos a partir de 1976 cuando Elayne Zorn viajó a Taquile Puno por primera vez para estudiar el tejido. Desde entonces, ella ha regresado a la isla de Taquile con regularidad para mantener un seguimiento de su evolución. En octubre de 2005, Annelou Ypeij se unió a ella en una visita a Taquile. Ypeij ha incluido Taquile en su estudio sobre el turismo en la región.
