Amazon Travel Sandoval Lake to Machu Pichu 6.

Day 1:
Puerto Maldonado – Amazon Travel Monkeys Island , Family Native People .

You are welcomed and pick-up from the airport/coach terminal of Puerto Maldonado by our Representative to take you to our office where you can leave your baggage not necessary for the trip. Then, we transfer you to a local port where you board a motorboat and navigate down the Madre de Dios River. On the way, we observe various mammal species such as turtles, birds, lizards, monkeys, turtles, caimans, etc., until we reach a checkpoint of the Sandoval Lake Reserve and after passing a check, we start walking for 5 km (1 and half an hour) to reach Sandoval Lake where we take a canoe bringing us to the Sandoval Lake Reserve  Lodge.

There, we accommodate ourselves and after lunch, we return sailing the lake in a canoe to see its typical inhabitants – giant river otters, black caimans, a prehistoric bird shansho, herons, cormorants, kingfisher, etc. Then, we return to the lodge for dinner to later get back to the lake again, this time to undertake an evening caiman observation, as caimans are nocturnal animals. Our professional naturalist Tour Guide shows and explains us about these animals. We overnight in our  lodge Sandoval Lake Reserve .

Day 2:
Amazon Travel – Sandoval Lake to Macaw Palm Tree – Giant River Otters:

Today, we wake up very early to go to the surroundings of the Sandoval Lake where huge number of various palms grow in its water creating an area of marsh. This place is called .Palm Tree Clay Lick (Collpa de Palmeras) and it attracts various macaw species and other parrots to eat sawdust of its palms as it contains sodium, calcium, potassium and other minerals helping them to digest. Then, we go back to the lodge to be given breakfast. Later, we take a next trip going to observe stunning flora and fauna of the Sandoval Lake Reserve. We can appreciate monkeys, deer, wild boars, tapirs or spectacled bears, just to name a few. For lunch, we get back to the lodge. Afterwards, we have given some time off to rest or enjoy a bath in the Sandoval Lake (no worries, there are no piranhas or other danger animals during the day). Then, we board a canoe to cross the lake to a place where we can better appreciate a beautiful sunset above the lake! At 7 pm, we return to the lodge for dinner while waiting for the moonlight, a suitable time to go watching caimans again! An overnight is in our lodge Sandoval Lake Reserve .

Day 3:
Amazon Travel   Back to  Puerto Maldonado City:
After breakfast, we first board a canoe to sail over the Sandoval Lake to later walk back to the checkpoint and from there, we continue sailing the Madre de Dios River by a motorboat towards Puerto Maldonado. We pick our baggage up in our office and then, we are transferred either to the airport or the coach terminal.

DAY 4:
 Sacred Valley &Pisaq -Urubamaba – Chnichero .
This tour begins with the picking up of passengers at the hotel to go through an asphalted path to the town of Pisac located 32 km from the city of Cusco; where you can see and do some shopping at the handicraft market of Pisac, located in the Main Plaza, the typical craftsmanship in ceramics, leather and looms elaborated by the artisans themselves will also be observed. Continuing the tour you will pass through the towns of Coya, Lamay, Calca, Yucay, Urubamba, observing beautiful flora and fauna during the route that takes about 45 minutes to reach the city of Urubamba where we have lunch in a cozy typical restaurant; in the afternoon we will continue the journey to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, after the visit to this important archaeological site, in return we will visit the ruins of Chinchero and its small chapel a few minutes from Cusco, later we will take you to your hotel.

DAY TOUR 5 :Machu Picchu Tour Full Day .
6:30 a.m. Transfer from Hotel to the train station to travel to Machu Picchu. Take the train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, arriving at 10:30 a.m. this town wings quickly board a bus to Machu Picchu Machupicchu Inca City. 11:00 a.m. began our 02-hour guided major Inka palaces of the city and its attractions tour. Machu Picchu citadel-it-iinca after you have free time to enjoy your own discretion and pace of this world wonder. We recommend visiting the house of the chosen, the intiwatana (sundial, marking the seasons), kallancas (sheds for warriors), baths and aqueducts, as well as large areas with terraces. Tours Día 1:
Puerto Maldonado _ Maloka Lodge a Amazon Travels

Le damos la bienvenida y recogida desde la terminal del aeropuerto / dirigente de Puerto Maldonado por nuestro representante que le llevará a nuestra oficina, donde puede dejar su equipaje no es necesario para el viaje. A continuación, nos trasladaremos a un puerto local donde abordará una lancha y navegar por el río Madre de Dios.

En el camino, observamos varias especies de mamíferos, tales como tortugas, aves, lagartos, monos, tortugas, caimanes, etc, hasta llegar a un puesto de control de la reserva del lago Sandoval y después de pasar un cheque, comenzamos a caminar durante 5 km (1 y media hora) para llegar a Lago Sandoval donde tomaremos una canoa a remo

Allí, nos acomodamos nosotros mismos y después del almuerzo, regresamos navegando el lago en una canoa para ver sus típicos habitantes – nutrias gigantes de río, caimanes negros, una shansho pájaro prehistórico, garzas, cormoranes, martín pescador, etc Entonces, volvemos a la casa de campo para la cena para llegar más tarde de vuelta al lago de nuevo, esta vez para llevar a cabo una observación de caimanes por la noche, como los caimanes son animales nocturnos. Nuestro naturalista profesional guía turístico muestra y nos explica acerca de estos animales. Pasaremos la noche en el lodge Maloka.

Tours Día 2:
Amazon Travels Macaw Palmera – nutrias gigantes:

Hoy en día, nos levantamos muy temprano para ir a los alrededores del lago Sandoval, donde gran número de diferentes palmeras crecen en el agua creando un área de pantano.

Este lugar se llama .Palm Tree Collpa (Collpa de Palmeras) y que atrae a varias especies de guacamayos y otros loros de comer aserrín de sus palmas, ya que contiene sodio, calcio, potasio y otros minerales que ayudan a digerir. Entonces, volvemos a la casa de campo que debe darse el desayuno. Más tarde, tomamos un viaje de ir a observar la flora y fauna de la reserva del lago Sandoval impresionantes.

Podemos apreciar monos, venados, jabalíes, tapires u osos de anteojos, sólo para nombrar unos pocos. Para el almuerzo, regresamos a la casa de campo. Después, nos hemos dado un tiempo libre para descansar o disfrutar de un baño en el lago Sandoval (no se preocupe, no hay pirañas u otros animales de peligro durante el día). Entonces, nos embarcaremos en una canoa para cruzar el lago a un lugar donde mejor podemos apreciar una hermosa puesta de sol sobre el lago! A las 7 de la tarde, regresamos al albergue para la cena a la espera de la luz de la luna, un momento adecuado para ir observando caimanes otra vez! Una noche a la mañana se encuentra en la Maloka lodge.

Tours Día 3:
Amazon Travels de regreso a Puerto Maldonado:

Después del desayuno, lo primero que abordaremos una canoa para navegar por el Lago Sandoval para luego caminar de regreso al punto de control y desde allí, continuamos navegando por el río Madre de Dios por una lancha hacia Puerto Maldonado.

Recogemos nuestro equipaje en nuestra oficina y luego nos trasladamos ya sea al aeropuerto o la terminal de autobuses.
