2-Day Itinerary – Tambopata Amazon Tour (Sandoval Lake)
Day 1: Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata Rainforest
Reception in Puerto Maldonado and boat transfer along the Madre de Dios River to the lodge. Jungle walk to observe flora, monkeys, and birds. Visit to Monkey Island and Cocha Caiman lagoon. In the evening, night boat safari to observe caimans.
Day 2: Sandoval Lake – Return
Breakfast and departure to Tambopata National Reserve. Jungle hike to Sandoval Lake. Canoe ride to observe wildlife and Amazon landscapes. Return to Puerto Maldonado and final transfer to the airport or hotel.
