Day 1: Machu Picchu by Train.

The tour begins very early with hotel pickup in Cusco and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Then, you will travel by tourist train to Aguas Calientes while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Upon arrival, your professional guide will accompany you on a guided tour of Machu Picchu, where you will explore the main sectors of the citadel, including temples, agricultural terraces, and ceremonial plazas. You will also visit the famous Watchman’s House viewpoint to enjoy the classic panoramic view of Machu Picchu.

After the guided tour, you will have free time in Aguas Calientes before returning by train to Ollantaytambo and finally back to Cusco.

Very early in the morning, we will begin the journey to Cusipata, where you will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast before continuing to the starting point of the hike.

The hike to Rainbow Mountain takes approximately 2 hours and offers stunning Andean landscapes, breathtaking views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, and opportunities to see llamas and alpacas along the route.

Upon reaching the viewpoint, you will enjoy the famous multicolored mountain and have free time for photographs. Afterwards, you will descend and return to Cusipata, where a buffet lunch will be served before heading back to Cusco.
